This was my second trip to Ningbo. Expecting to see nothing more than some shops and a few parks, imagine my excitement when I discovered that Chiang Kai-Shek grew up in Ningbo. His former residence has been turned into a tourist attaction. The site is comprised of many shops and a small museum, featuring Chang Kai-Shek's history, along with several historical relics.
This site is a little bit of a drive from Ningbo's city center. If I recall correctly, it is about a 40min drive. As with anything remotely touristy in China, be prepared for a small entrance fee to go into the museum.
