Bolsa Chica is one of the great spots for long boarding in Southern California. The wave isn't super steep and isn't very difficult to catch. Bolsa can get very crowded but the surfers are typically very nice and welcoming.
Bolsa is a state beach so you have to pay to park -$10 per day or your can buy and annual pass for $120.
