Little Harbor is a great campground that is located on the outside of Catalina Island.

To get to Little Harbor you have to take the bush bus from Avalon or Two Harbors (Two Harbors is the closest). The bus ride is about an hour and takes you from one side of the island to the other. On the ride we saw a bunch of Catalina's buffalo population.

The harbor is a couple of small protected coves. The first cove is right infront of the camp ground and is good for snorkeling. I didn't swim in the second cove but both mornings were camped there surfers were out in the mornings.

At night you get what you would expect, some campers are there to party and others are there to have more fun during the day than at night. The campground is big enough that the folks that want to party can get away from the folks that want to sleep at night.
